The read budget purported to increase VAT rate by 2.5%. This clearly shows that, government workers are going to suffer limitlessly incase it starts to operate.

They also commented that the Cola which used to cushion salaries abit is going to be scab off by the end of December bring salaries to square zero.

The host threw a question to them that, there is no money in the country so how can salaries be increased as much as 65%. They answered furiously that, the slogan that there is no money in the country is just a mere fallacious statement government used to cripple workers.

How can the bonus and allowances alone of some civil servants be more than twice the salary of a government worker in different juridiction with the same qualification or with even better qualification.

They pinpointed at all sort of allowances some categories of people receive in the country to the neglection of others. Some individuals benefit from fuel allowances, transport allowances, accommodation allowances, clothing allowance, car allowance after giving them super flamboyant cars and houses to stay.

How then can one prove to the ordinary Ghanaian that there is no money in the country? so they added.
