Compulsory 15% increment of School Fees Across all the Tertiary Institutions in Ghana has been confirmed and Approved by Public Tertiary Institutions for the 2022/2023 Academic Year.
Compulsory 15% increment of school fees has been bombarded to the current school fees for the various tertiary institutions.
For Now, the reality on the grounds is due the chameleon- nature of the performance of the cedis against the dollars. Every continues student or an aspirant or a potential student willing to enter in tertiary institution in the public sector should encode in his or her mind that, an amount of fifteen percent is required from him or her plus the actual school fees.
For Example, Those who used to pay 1000ghc are to pay 1150ghc.

Not quite long that the Ghana Tertiary Institutions started agitating and hence came out with a proposal depicting their fight for 30% increase in school fees to help them carry out their day to day activities and affairs of their institutions.
But later on , this was scaled down to 15% after authorities have series of meetings were held with various stakeholders. Logically to say, they are mot be far from right in the sense that the tertiary institutions run a system equivalent to neo colonialism where government partly peeps through their progress and programming.
How to gather requisite resources for the payment of the salaries of their staffs is the school’s responsibility.
To hit the nail on the head, the intention for the previous letter addressed to the Ministry of Education early last month juxtaposed the melancholic system as well as the strains and stresses at their disposal as far a the running of the institutions are concerned.

A significant notice was hereby given to the general public that, fees and charges applicable in all the tertiary institution and may be adjusted to no more than 15percent of the normal price incase they go beyond that, then they will be subjected to severe torture and tribulation as well as agony.
