Teenage Pregnancy Rate at St. Mary’s Girls Senior High School is becoming horrible _ Headmistress. The headmistress of St. Mary’s Girls Senior High School expressed worrisome development about her school.
According to the head, ony with this recent period fifteen (15) of the girls across the various forms are pregnant. Among this number, 10 of these students are in their second year, 4 of them are in their final year and one year one girl. It sounds like pregnancy is a beautiful fashion to these students.
Instead of the students focusing on their books and preparing their future, it is pretty sad that most of them have totally forgotten their mission in the school.
A report from UTV confirmed this information.
The headmistress said currently GES does not admit that pregnant students should go home. Meanwhile their staying on campus is a threat to their own life. If one is pushed by a colleague, its going to be an issue.
However, The Headmistress also supports GES in the sense that, if such girls go home returning to school after delivery is always a problem. Few of them who will return to school find it difficult to concentrate as a result of combining child care and academics.
