After the Basic Education Certificate Examination Results were released, West African Examination Council notified the general public about the cancellation of 74 candidates results due to signs of exams malpractices. Investigations went on as espected and later on most of the results were released.
Parents of such candidates were dying slowly per the video given below. Most of them were so worried hence the psychological trauma, agony and tribulations associated with it caused a miscarried in one woman. The woman said she had only one child and was praying vehemently for her to also enjoy the free education.
But later realizing that all hopes were lost and her dreams were crippled, as a single mother she was devasted and irritated. She started thinking all day long . It seems all hopes were lost. Anxiety and pressure showed their ugly heads in her health life leading to spontaneous abortion of her pregnancy.
She is pleading that WAEC should allow favoritism to work so that their children can also taste the flavour of FSHS. To her they were promised later after the investigations were carried out that, they were going to release their results. That particular moment was a moment of tears of joy. Lo and be hold the results were released.
But to their surprise English language which happens to be a core paper was cancelled. All their jubilations melted inside. This means their wards can not go to SHS this year. This is tag-off-war for them.
Some parents added that, they are now concerned of the safety of their wards. They are forced to carry them along any where they find themselves which on its own is not safe. These students are planning of eliminating themselves. They realized that they are now useless since they could not continue their education. Some were able to past all the other papers well with the exception of the English language been canceled.
Their plea to WAEC is that, they should try their best possible to do some thing sooner than later before the life of their wards will be jeopardized.
