Australia Awards Scholarships are long-term awards administered by the Department of Foreign Affairs and Trade.
They aim to contribute to the development needs of Australia’s partner countries in line with bilateral and regional agreements.
Eligibility for Australia Awards Scholarships
To be eligible for an Australia Awards Scholarship, you must:
Be a citizen of a participating country.
Meet the academic requirements for your chosen program of study.
Have a strong commitment to development in your home country.
Meet the requirements set for your country.
Scholars are required to leave Australia for a minimum of two years after completing their scholarship.
