Poverty or lack of money can sometimes be the root of all evil. BECE Graduate who gained Admission into St. Rose’s Senior High School needs help or Dropout out of school  due to poverty.

A young girl who just completed junior high school with excellent grades is incapacitated to further her education out of poverty. She and her parents pleaded sorrowfully that the message is carried across the country in various diacotomies for good samaritans to come to their rescue.

Funding the girl to complete junior high school was even a tragedy. To them, at a point in time, the girl need to absent herself from school to hawk on the street selling soft drinks and water to get money to buy her text books and other stationary. This nearly imparted negatively on her academics achievement. Although the journey was not too smooth for her, she strived hard and performed excellently in the external examination.

The poor girl is living with her sick father who could not work for ten years now due to partial stroke and mother who is a mere trader. The woman is now playing the roles of both father and mother. Unfortunately for patricia the BECE graduate, her parents have seven children. She is the elders hence she need to lay the foundation for her siblings to follow.

This has rather made matters worse for patricia since there is high dependency ratio on the breadwinner.
