Youth Allegedly Attacked Teachers of Odumase Basic School/ School Closed Down indefinitely until further notice. The Overwhelming and dunting information reaching us depicts that Odumase Basic School has been closed down indefinitely.
The vivid issue that led to the close down of the school was as a results of the angry youth rushing to the school with cutlasses and other weapons to attack the teachers after a final year student was penalized by a teacher of the school for misconducting himself.
This has brought chaos and havoc to the school and the community as large. According to one teacher who was interviewed, one final year student was furiously playing with mangoes in class whiles lessons were ongoing. This forced the master to give this boy some strokes of canes. The boy angry took his bag and rushed home to complain to his siblings.
As if the youth of the community were targeting the teachers, the brothers of this student organized the community youth to violently project themselves into spirit and violent beings. They invaded the school and highjacked the school and mercilessly beating any teacher or staff they come across.
They started beating the teachers and they have to run for their lives. Per the news, One pregnant madam was forced to run violently for her life. As we speak she is have serious complications. The issue was reported to the police but it seems their investigations were null and void. The head master said they know the people who caused such atrocity. Instead of pointing them out and dealing with them, the police has coiled itself inside its favourable shell giving utterances that, they are doing preliminary investigations.
The District Chief Executive, the assembly man and the Headmaster of the school fronded seriously against the act of the community members. As a results of the incident the DCE and the district director of educator authorized the closer of school till further notice.
