Controller and Accountant General Department threatened to Embarked on Infinite Strike.
Controller and Accountant General Department shorten as (CAGD) has gathered heavy heart with courage to let the skeleton out of the box concerning payment of their allowances.
Despite the fact that they were instituted to ensure a more challenging area, that has to do with money disbursement, the privileges they have to enjoy were denied them. They raised a disheartening issue about how risky their job is but The Management Board of Controller and Accountant General Department together with Ministry of Finance deliberately and astonishingly planed to penalize them by not paying attention to their demands.
They therefore metaphorically stated that since the only language Ghanaian leaders understand is to demonstrate against them or to embark on strike, they are panning to go on indefinite strike.

It is pathetic to hear that, from 2021 up to date, the monies they qualified to enjoy called honorarium, they never smell the scent of it. At this time, law of Karma need to work, but the surprisingly, the bouncing effect will be grievous since it will not only affect government but also his employees.
They promised to avoid all the necessary National Account validation exercises yet to kick off which is a mandatory strategy to identify and halt any hidden impediment in the system.
Beside the above mention mechanism going to be halted, they also intend to quit any thing that has to do with validation of government workers whose salaries pass through their system.
However, the group have already sent their petition to the Ministry of Finance but they are still hearing cock and bull stories. All their staffs in the various Districts and Regional offices as well as the mother office at Accra are asking the authorities to treat their petition in an urgent manner before they do their worse.
