In 2008, he represented Sunyani West Constituency as an aspiring member of parliament. He was elected as a parliamentarian by his people onto parliament.

 

 

 

After the party loss the election, Baffour Awuah was re-elected into parliament. In 2017, Akufo Addo named Baffour Awuah as part of his 19 cabinet ministers.
