Colleges of Education Academic Calendar ready to kick of the 2023 Academic Year’s Activities according to PRINCOP of Ghana
The National Conference of Principals of Colleges of Education publicized that, the Colleges of Education Academic calendar has been finally released. This signals their preparedness to smoothly run this semester’s programmes successfully, effectively and consistently without hindrances on condition that all the needed services are provided.
This calendar serves as the over all building block for the over forty-six public Colleges of Education in Ghana with adequate accreditation to start their academic activities in accordance with their constituent and academic standards of the institutes.
It has indicated that, the commencement of the micro-teaching for the Level four-hundred (400) students is 20/01/2023. It is incumbent upon every final year student to partake in this important upcoming academic exercise to boost their GPA. They are therefore advised to try as much as their abilities to report to their schools of attachment to enhance the initiation of the macro- teaching.
Twelve weeks will be spent for the entire exercise.
Colleges of Education Academic Calendar
First and Second years, thus levels 100 and 200 students, needed to report on 23th day of January, 2023 to begin the first semester academic work. In connotation to the calendar, level 100 students will spend a maximum of nine weeks while five weeks only will be spent by level 200’s.

Second semester for level three hundred (300) students will begin on 25th February, 2023
Breaking date for level 200 Students to mark the 1st part of the first semester will be 25th February 2023.
The inter- semester break is expected to last for about five weeks, thus, from April 2nd to 7th May 2023.
The second phase of the first semester for both levels 100 and 200 students is programed to last for four weeks and eight weeks respectively.
End of first semester exams for first years will commence on 22nd and end on 2nd June 2023.
