2022 BECE Results Release Date Postponed: Is the BECE results going to be released on the said date, thus, 19th January, 2023? What is happening at
Free Senior High School Secretariat?
The Deputy National Coordinator, for Free Senior High School, Nana Afrah Sika Mensah updaded Adom TV on the release of the BECE results and the challenges they encounter.
This update took place on 17th January, 2023, 6:00 news, Adom.
Madam Afrah Sika Mensah specifically states that, the Computerized school Selection and placement System mop up exercise has began.This is to create a pavement to limit the challenges that are accompanied by the placement system.
According to Nana Afrah Sika, the process is very tedious which means it demands time and attention.
They are working tiredlessly to reduce some of the challenges that occured last year.
Last year for instance, series of issues like; female names given to male students and vice versa, missing of names, students with adequate passes been denied of the schools of their choices, some students with good passes did not get placement at all just to mention a few.
She agreed to the fact that they are humans and can made mistakes but as for this year, things are going to be far better than last year in terms of quality service delivery.
She said in view of lessening the challenges, WAEC has released a press, informing all students who sat for the 2022 BECE to go through the verification process as their placement is concerned.
Failure to comply with the placement mechanisms and do any necessary changes in the school selection process should have yourself to be blamed, said the Deputy Coordinator.

She said, all necessary measures were put in place to ensure the results are released on the said date, 19th, January, 2023 but because of the combusomeness of the process, it can not be released on the said date.
It has now be postponed to a frame between 21st January 2023 and 26th January, 2023. Unfortunately, it is a very sorry story to hear this. But she said they are working hard to release the results. Graduates should be calm and wait for the release of the BECE results from 21st January to 26th January, 2023
