A Survey for All Teachers: As a matter of Urgency Ghana Education Service Deem it Mandatory for Every Teacher to Engage in this Survey.
GES has Initiated a workforce Survey Baseline Programme for educational upliftment. A press released dated 20th December 2022 under the authority of AG. Director of Human Resource Management of GES, Angela Frimpomaa Nkansah has directed all Regional and District Directors including all teachers about this new initiative. Mandatory Survey for all teachers.
The content of the letter implies that Ghana Education Service initiated a workforce Survey to add professional touch to education in Ghana.
The letter reads as:
The Education Commission under the Ghana Education workforce initiative programme engaged a price Waterhouse Cooper to develop a revised education workforce design which will be used to develop a strategic approach and practical tools for education workforce for planning and deployment to manage Ghana’s Education Workforce.
A Survey for All Teachers
The programme consisted with various phases of which phase one was executed from January 2019 to June 2020 which resulted in the design of new organizational structure to improve the workforce with focused execution of roles and continuous monitoring and evaluation.
The second phase is series of leading engagement leading to the implementation of the programme.

A leadership engagement and workforce was organized from 5th December to 15th December 2022.
In view of this a baseline survey was conducted to gather information from teachers which will help improve the next phase.
Teachers participation is very important since they are the major stakeholders and they will help improve Ghana Education Workforce initiative programme.
