It is better off a book is not judged by its cover. A flash back to 2021 admission into Senior High Schools in Ghana accompanied by agitations and reckless confrontations.These Two Rasta guys were initially denied of admission based on their hair style.
The tone of this music did not sound well before the parents of these students. The issue was sent to the law court and consequently judgement was passed in favour of these students. The information gathered so far depicts that, the students are performing extremely well academically to the extend that they got absolute attention from all.
One of the students by name Marghuy, whose extraordinary performance delighted Achimota School, has been endorsed as one of their contestants against the upcoming National Science and Math Quiz. This message surprises many.
The dreams of such a bright guy nearly become a white elephant due to mere Religious discrimination. A greater lesson to everyone. All forms of discriminations, being it disability, religion, tribe and so on must not be the alternate means for either denying or offering some one opportunities especially if national development is our goal. Instead, a true competence, capability and passion must be considered.
