1. Naloxone hydrochloride- is a life saving medication which can reverse certain life conditions when administered at the right time.
They include: heron, pentenel and prescribed opioid medications such as morphine, tramadol, codaine etc.
Opioids are strong pain killers which when given in overdose results in life threatening conditions such as difficulty in breathing, slow breathing and fainting. They are prescriptive and are highly addictive when use for long time.
Naloxone are in the market with brand names such as Narcan, Narcotan and nalox. These drugs can be administers using all the various type of route : Interveinal, intramuscular, substitanous and intranasal. It can be in the form of injectable solution or auto injectors.
Naloxone is opioid receptor antagonist meaning it blocks the absorption of other opioids when administered along side other Opioids.
