All said and done, Ghanaians have lost one soldier to the cold arms of Mr. death. Today markes the fifth day when the soldier was brutalized mercilessly by an unknown entities.

Legally speaking, the cause of his death was not known and still not known. The Cid’s are vehemently conducting preliminary investigations into the matter to aid identify the perpetuators of such scandalized event and make sure they are brought to book.

Public Awareness was created about how the soldiers maliciously took over the entire Ashaiman, brutalizing any one they come into contact with for the reason that, the community killed their brother. Afterwards a total of 118 people were arrested from Ashaiman. The entire people of Ashaiman were furious over the reckless action taken by the military force.

Pre to ‘The State of The Nation’s Address’ Yesterday, the president pleaded the people of Ashaiman community on behalf of the military.

The minister of defence was later interviewed on joy news about the action undertaken by the military, but he kept on insisting that in terms of chaotic events like this, the best strategy to employ was what the military did. This means the military did what is right?

Let,s face the fact but not the fallacy! Assuming an ordinary person was brutalized, could the military have done same by attacking the entire community? Surely no! Are we all equal before the law? I will answer No! Where then is the rule of law, checks and balances and almighty democratic governance. My advice to you and myself is ” lets be careful, for we are in a country that no one cares for the ordinary person any more.

As today marks the 5th day of the late Shariff, all preparations were under way to burry the body according to Islamic sharia or law. Watching the video one can pinpoint that, it is a very sorrowful moment for the military. According to latest development, out of the 118 people arrested, 88 have been released with the exception of 30 more people.
