BECE Tips for Candidates has become necessary following the abysmal performance of most students in their external examination.
This years Basic Education Certificate Examination is will commence on Monday ,17th of October 2022 and end at Friday, 21st October, 2022.
Head of Board of Directors for External Examinations in Ghana, Dr. Samuel Lamtey during his educational talk, on Adom TV, on monday, 3rd October 2022 pinpointed some salient strategies and practices to be fully utilized by candidate in order to excel in their exams.

Teachers are to communicate the underlisted strategies to their students and spell out the culminating consequences of their actions.
Strategies recommended for candidates.
1. Formations of study groups to vividly discuss challenging and more technical topics.
2. Limitless solving of past questions as a tool to develop confidence and enthusiasm towards examinations.
3. Desisting from shortening of words as used in social media for
communication eg.fine as fn, e for that etc.

4. Asking teachers and academic dormant friends questions consistently to aid better understanding.
5. Read carefully the instruction on both the question and the answer booklet and comply. Never forget to write your index number, your name and the questions numbers at their rightful sections on the answer booklet. Do not tear anu part of the answer booklet.
6. skipping of pages of the answer booklet.

7. Ineligible handwriting and improper spelling of words should be taken note of.
