The Ark Cowbell Brain Challenge: SUSEC Model Basic School Won The School Quiz Competition Entitled “The Brain Challenge”
SUSEC Model Basic School has proven to the entire public about its limitless and endless academic excellence by emerging as the apparent winner for the second time in the “The Ark Cowbell Brain Challenge Quiz Competition” organized for Basic Schools in Bono Region of Ghana. The Ark Cowbell Brain Challenge Quiz Competition was organized for the second time.
In this contest of the grand finale, SUSEC Model Basic School competed assiduously with schools like: Bishop Owusu Girls Junior High School (JHS) in Berekum, St. Theresa’s Preparatory School and Dumasua JHS in Sunyani West Municipality.
The competition was strategically organized by Ark FM, a Sunyani-based radio station for the second time.

The Key sponsor of the programme was Cowbell milk producers (promisador) which also featured sixty seven schools in totally in Ahafo Region.
This programme was first instituted in 2021 to help promote and sustain academic excellence in schools in the Region.
During this year’s contest, St. Mary’s Preparatory School and Bishop Owusu Junior High School submitted dearly and respectfully to SUSEC Model School in the grand finale.
Each of the three schools exhibited a great sense of uniqueness in academic excellence in the contest but SUSEC Model Basic Schools performance was extremely incomparable hence, emerged the over all winner of the competition.The competition was centered on Integrated Science, Mathematics and Current Affairs.
At the end of the contest, the three contestants of SUSEC had 81 points and were prized a laptop each, cowbell products and certificates. Their two quiz teachers received one tablet each and five hundred branded exercise looks went for the school.

Bishop Owusu Girls Junior High School had second position with 78 points with each contestant given a tablet, Cowbell products and certificates.

Lastly, St. Theresa’s Preparatory School with 74 points received certificates and Cowbell products for placing third position.
The Managing Director of Ark FM, sent his congratulating message to: SUSEC for winning the competition, the contestants, contested schools, the quiz teachers and ‘Promisador’ for the sponsorship.
He said the challenge has come to stay and that all sponsorships are welcomed.He added that, this programme is to help produce innovative, talented and creative future leaders.
